reclaim your hidden inner power
“I don’t want to have to be resilient”, I read somewhere on Instagram the other day.
The author of the post expressed her frustration of having to be strong and powerful in a world that is designed to keep on knocking you down.
Her wish was to be soft, to be herself, to just ‘be’ rather than continuously having to stand up for herself.
I get it.
I get her frustration with the frameworks we find ourselves in.
As much as I feel deeply empowered from within, I cannot deny we still live in a system that Truman-Show-esque will always metaphorically show us the limits of where we can go with our dreams and ideas. It will always continue to push ourselves back into our boxes, making us ask ourselves “why did I want to grow again” or think to ourselves “this is too damn hard”.
Are you feeling this too?
Do you feel like your resilience is starting to become exhausting?
Take it a step back, sister.
Sit or lie down. Put your hands on your heartspace. Close your eyes. Breathe.
Receive the nourishing fresh air around you and release on your exhale any heaviness, frustration or doubt that you’re feeling.
Feeling exhausted because of how the world turns is completely understandable.
And you can give yourself some space to feel that, too.
But then it’s a matter of getting back up and turning exhaustion into motivation and frustration into fire.
Basically, it’s about leaving victim mode and owning your power.
Life is never fully going to go ‘your’ way.
Resilience is innately something we need to live and thrive.
The only difference here between feeling exhausted by it or motivated by it is the choice how you’re going to approach your resiliency.
Are you going to see your ability to ride the waves of setback and discomfort as a means to survive?
Or are you going to see it as proof that you’re innately powerful, resourceful and intuitive?
You decide.
I truly believe your resiliency shows you time and time again that there are other ways to achieve your goals, there are ways to pivot your manifestations so you receive everything you desire ánd more, there are infinite sparks of strength and inspiration within you that you can always tap into when you need it.
And what’s more beautiful, powerful and rebellious than that?
Feeling exhausted by the system is totally understandable.
But I wouldn’t be here, typing this up for you, if I would be exhausted of the fight.
I choose to turn my exhaustion into inspiration.
I choose to burn down all the frustration and use the fire to spark my inner light and share it too.
You too can alchemise this.
You too can approach your resiliency as one of your greatest hidden superpowers, for you to use for yourself and to inspire others with.
I’m handing you the torch now. What are you going to do with it?
