Affirmations are energetic reminders - using words to bring you back to what you're working on and where you're headed on your spiritual path. 🙏🏼 ⁠ ⁠ This is why within each module of Sacralise Yourself, you are offered three affirmations to help you lock in the inner work you're doing.✨⁠ ⁠ I personally love the affirmation 'my source power resides within', and it has been my wallpaper on my phone for over a month now. It helps me remember to realign my energy, check in with myself and continue to connect to my own desires and energy. In my role as mentor, but also as a woman and human being in our world, I give a lot. In a world of social media and 'doing what you love', can things still be sacred? 🧘🏼‍♀️ I recently had to make the difficult decision to quit my weekly Yoga teaching, to make space for other projects and divine rest. And something I have always struggled with since I became a Yoga teacher (and this trickles into other areas of my work too) is the sacredness of my own practice. I am so lucky and grateful that I have been able to create a business based on my personal interests and passions. Something I didn't expect to be a side-effect of that, however, is that most of what I love doing are also things I share about online and with my clients and customers. And as amazing as that is, it's also sometimes hard to relax into these things on a personal level now. So now that teaching Yoga isn't part of my workweek anymore, I have returned to the practice as a sacred moment for myself. And there's magic hidden within that. ✨ You may (or not!) notice that I rarely film myself meditating, journaling or doing Yoga for stories. For a while, I doubted whether I could fully claim that I was practicing what I was preaching if I didn't have the content to show for it. But as much as I love to share my life with you, I just don't want to feel distracted in my sacred practices, making sure I'm getting the right angle or that the lighting is okay. 🤷🏼‍♀️ All this to say - there's something to be said about keeping things sacred. There's a magic that can happen within if we keep things close to our heart. In a world focused on sharing, can you resource yourself without showing it to the world? Can that still count? It's an interesting topic that I definitely don't have all the answers for - because I also understand the other side of this coin, where it can feel incredibly empowering (and healing!) to share about your more spiritual side (trust me, I've been there too). But exploring the sacredness of our beliefs and actions is definitely part of our path. It's no coincidence that I'm launching 'Sacralise Yourself', the mini training I've been working on for a while (!), on Wednesday. Keep your eyes peeled if you're keen to dive into your own sacred processes...! 🧡
